Youth Centre Cindy Sparrow Youth
Worker The Youth Centre is located next to the gymnasium and offers many drug and alcohol free activities for the youth of the community. The centre also provides information on many of the issues youth may be facing. The days and hours of operation are:

Centre Brenda Campbell Elders
Coordinator The Elders Centre is a place
for our elders to visit with one another, as well as to gather and have
lunch and dinner together. The coordinator identifies social needs of
the elders as well as organizes activities, daily outings, and longer
trips for those who can travel. Musqueam
Co-Operative Pre-School Our Pre-School provides
schooling and developmental play to enable all pre-school aged children
prepare to enter kindergarten and the elementary school system. The
teachers have incorporated Musqueams traditional language and
the use of native designs for the childrens artwork into the curriculum.
Victor Guerin, Musqueam Language Coordinator, visits the school to teach
the children primary level vocabulary and songs in the Musqueam
Childcare Centre Dianne Point Childcare
Worker The Child Care Centre has
a licensed staff that is certified in early child education for infant/toddler
and infant/toddler with special needs. The centre provides a program
for three to five year olds that will focus on each childs needs
and development, which including: a variety of opportunities, stimulating
experiences and a safe, healthy environment. The children have opportunities
to develop their language skills and to learn about establishing respectful
social relationships. Outdoor exploration and play is also incorporated
into the daily learning and educational play routines. Hours of operation
are from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm offering full day care as well as half-day

Sulsila
Lelum Healing Centre Jerilyn Sparrow Coordinator It provides a safe environment that encourages
cultural, traditional and western healing practices to the community,
families and individuals. The centre and its counselling staff
offer one on one counselling, group sessions, Art Therapy, workshops,
traditional healers, and arts and crafts groups. St. Michaels

Home The safe home provides a
caring environment where our children at risk may learn life skills
and their cultural heritage as Musqueam. The Safe Home Parents reside
at the Musqueam Safe Home and act as surrogate parents to children in
need. Families can voluntarily place children in the Safe Home. SAIP
Worker/Child Art & Play Therapist The Therapist provides Art
& Play Therapy to the Musqueam children and youth who have suffered
abuse and trauma. The primary focus of the work is to provide individual
therapy to the child/youth client, but also has educational responsibilities
with the families, schools, and other agencies involved. Safety
Patrol The Musqueam community in partnership with the Musqueam leaseholders developed a volunteer safety patrol. Neil Grant and Joseph Point work as a security/patrol men. They work evenings and weekends patrolling the entire Musqueam community.
