Wall Mural @ Camosun Substation (BC Hydro & VMF)
BC Hydro is seeking an artist to design a mural at the newly updated Camosun Substation at 4201-4299 Camosun St, Vancouver. This call is open to all Musqueam artists, both established mural artists and those new to mural making.

This 853 square foot mural will be visible from a walking path. The selected artist is responsible for the mural design only. Due to safety and technical requirements, a commercially-certified painter will be hired to execute the mural design in August 2023.
This is a great opportunity for an emerging artist to work with the Vancouver Mural Festival to learn about mural making, public art and project management.

Compensation
$6,500
Eligibility
All Musqueam artists are eligible
Experience creating traditional Coast Salish/Musqueam art and design
No prior experience with professional public art or mural making necessary. We encourage anyone interested to apply!
