Participate in the the Musqueam Census before Feb. 28
Musqueam community members are invited to participate in the Musqueam Census 2025/26.
The Musqueam Census is a survey that helps MIB Administration and Chief & Council understand our community’s population, priorities and directions for the future. The Musqueam Census is an initiative that came out of Musqueam’s community planning process.
The Musqueam Census is a survey by Musqueam, for Musqueam.
There are three parts to the Musqueam Census – the Household Survey, the Personal Survey, and the Self-Governance Survey. Scroll down for more information about each survey (including gift cards and prize draws for each one!).
How to participate in the Musqueam Census
Online – Registered Musqueam members will receive an email and / or mail notice with an online access link to each survey in November 2025. Musqueam members can share these links with their household members who may not be registered members.
Paper – Printed surveys are available on request for any community member (on or off reserve), and will be delivered to the Musqueam Elders Centre. Please call or email the Musqueam Census team to request paper surveys and we will arrange a drop off or mail out. You can also pick up paper surveys at the MIB office (on request at reception).
The Musqueam Census is a Musqueam Indian Band project. There is no connection to the federal government or the Canadian census.
The Musqueam Census is completely anonymous. You can optionally provide your name on a separate list only for the purposes of contacting you for gift cards and prize draws. Your name and contact information is not associated with your responses.
Each survey has its own separate grand prize draw with multiple prizes. Each month the Musqueam Census is open we will also draw for two $200 gift cards.
After the Musqueam Census closes, there will be a community dinner and grand prize draw. You do not need to be present at the dinner to claim a prize.
