Event: Winter is coming; Home energy conservation, health, and safety in winter months

When: Thursday, October 28^th 2021

Time: 3:00 – 6:00 PM

Where:  Cultural Centre

The event is to promote energy conservation, health, and safety in winter months. BC Hydro and Fortis BC will be present in our event to tell the membership and staff about the existing rebate opportunities. Additionally,

• You can also sign up for both housing programs (ECAP and Energuide) during our event;
• You can get your furnace filter coupons, fire extinguisher, Carbon monoxide and smoke detector, and our other giveaways;
• Play games and win prizes; and
• Grab a bite.

Who is this event for?

Open to all ages; staff and community members.

Do I need to bring anything?

Bring your Fortis BC and/or BC Hydro Bills to take advantage of the housing programs; you can sign up during the event.

Will there be food?

Yes! Who wouldn’t want free food? Food will be served with our food truck set up outside the Cultural Centre.

What COVID protocols will be set in place?

As per the provincial health guidelines, masks are mandatory when indoors, and physical distancing will be enforced to ensure the safety of the community.
