Join this two-day session to learn how to safely talk about substance use and support family and friends living with addictions in Musqueam and other First Nations.

The Not Just Naloxone Program was developed by the First Nations Health Authority in response to BC’s toxic drug crisis, which disproportionately impacts Indigenous people.

Topics covered include:

• decolonizing addiction and substance use
• destigmatizing substance use and addiction
• how to use Naloxone
• racism and prohibition in Canada
• Indigenous harm reduction practices
• trauma- and resiliency-informed practice

Participants receive up to $50 in gift cards and a chance to win other prizes, including gaming consoles and wireless headphones!
