Exercise boosts our spirits and our immune systems! It can help us to sleep better and reduce feelings of stress and anxiety – something especially important right now during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Outdoor activities include:
- walking or jogging
- gardening
- bike rides
- playing active games with your family
As long as you stay at least 6-10+ feet away (even more is better) from other people. Physical distancing is key!
Indoor exercise options (with no/miminal equipment) include:
- yoga or workout videos
- circuits with push-ups, squats, lunges, calf raises, jumping jacks, planks, wall sits and crunches
- put on some music – briskly walk around the house, up and down stairs, do household chores, or have a dance party!
Just keep moving!
