What does it mean to be šxʷməθkʷəy̓əmaʔɬ məsteyəxʷ?
What does it mean to be a Musqueam person?
The Musqueam Community Planning team wants to hear from you!
In early February, postcards will be delivered and mailed to Musqueam households on and off reserve. We invite all community members to tell us: What does it mean to be a Musqueam person?
Share your response in any creative way you’re inspired! You can draw, write, paint, photograph – anything you feel called to do.
Your submissions will help make sure Musqueam identity and culture is the foundation of our community’s vision and plans for the future. Musqueam’s Comprehensive Community Plan (CCP) is driven by the voices of our community and used to inform decisions by leadership and staff.
All participants will be entered into multiple prize draws!
Postcards will be featured in a community art show (both in person and online) this March.
Contest closes on February 28, 2023
