Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only people contacted can attend in person.  Please know that this is a very difficult and unusual process for the family.

Procession

In an effort to create an opportunity for Musqueam to pay respect to our loved one, there will be a procession on reserve after the celebration of life. The family invites everyone to join in this final farewell by lining up at designated spots along the procession route.

The procession will leave the Musqueam Community Center at approximately 10:00am. The route is posted here: musqueam.bc.ca/remembering-bud-sparrow

If you would like to offer the family a handshake or returns, this can be done during the processions. The ushers will follow behind the procession and collect envelopes. Please include on envelope: name, where money will go to, e.g. headstone, or family etc.

Due to the COVID safety guidelines, community will have to remain in place and say your farewell from the curbside. We ask that everyone practice physical distancing (6 – 10 feet) and ensure the safety of the family in mourning. We understand how difficult this is for community, but we must remain diligent.
