Constitution Working Group Meeting

Are you interested in learning about Musqueam’s new constitution and providing input on the first draft? Have you heard about self-governance, but aren’t sure what that means for Musqueam?

Every Thursday night from 5:30 – 7pm, the Musqueam Constitution Working Group meets on Zoom to talk about ƛ̓a tə sʔanɬ šxʷtəhim̓, our future community constitution that will be the fundamental law of Musqueam.

The key piece of this drafting phase is community feedback on things like our new self-determined governance structure, how we will enact laws and elect representatives, and other processes and policies.
