THEME: Inclusion, Reconciliation, and Decolonization in Indigenous-led Genomics

Please join us for a conversation about the roles of science and technology in the colonization of Indigenous peoples and Indigenous involvement in science and technology.

Presenter: Professor Kim TallBear (Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate) is the Canada Research Chair in Indigenous Peoples, Technoscience and Society at the University of Alberta. Descended from the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma TallBear was raised on the Flandreau Santee Sioux Reservation in South Dakota as well as in St. Paul, Minnesota.
