Every year, Musqueam recognizes November 1 as Musqueam Day – a holiday to celebrate the strength and determination of our ancestors to seek justice and protection of our inherent rights.

On November 1, 1984, Musqueam won R. v. Guerin, the landmark Supreme Court of Canada case regarding the Shaughnessy Golf Course lease.
