Since 2013, a group of dedicated female officers from the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) have been increasing women’s safety as part of the VPD Women’s Personal Safety Team. Their goal is to educate, inspire, and empower women to take ownership of their personal safety.

This workshop teaches tactics designed to be easily learned and remembered by women with no prior training in case they are ever faced with a situation of unavoidable violence.

• No pre-registration required.
• Please arrive by 5:40pm to sign up before the workshop starts at 6pm.
• Age: 19+
  • Youth under 19 years are welcome if accompanied by an adult
• This workshop is part of Musqueam Women’s Wellness Group
