18th Annual Musqueam & UBC Youth Soccer Tournament
May 20 & 21, 2023
The Musqueam Indian Band and the University of British Columbia would like to invite you to join us at our 18th Annual Musqueam and UBC Youth Soccer Tournament. The tournament will take place May 20th and 21st, 2023 at the Musqueam Sports Fields. We aim to provide you, your team, your fans and parents with an enjoyable sporting experience.
We would like to thank all community members for their continued support of the annual MIB & UBC Youth Soccer Tournament. This year, we are excited to host 56 teams for 109 games over two days!

Shuttle Information
A community shuttle is running both days starting at 8am until the end of the last game of the day.
Visitors are asked to park their cars at the band office (6735 Salish Drive). The shuttle will drive from the band office to the sports field throughout the day.
Parking Information
Notice of Parking Restrictions
While hosting a tournament close to home has benefits, it does present an issue with parking.
In past years, there have been a HIGH number of incidents of resident’s driveways being blocked by cars, lawns/gardens being ruined and littered with debris, and community members being rude and dismissive to parking staff.
Please remember to remain respectful and that our helpers are entitled to a safe and comfortable environment at the event.
This year, Musqueam Safety and Security will be assisting us in implementing VERY LIMITED PARKING AT THE FIELDS. Please note Safety and Security staff will be blocking streets and restricting parking access to elders and handicap ONLY. For this reason we ask that you utilize the shuttle service from the Band Office parking lot or walk to the fields. Shuttle will run daily from 8:00 am to after the end of the last game.
Please help us to maintain a respectful and mutually beneficial relationship with our neighbours.

Entry Information
Entry fees are as follows:
- Youth 5 & U $100.00 Unlimited Roster (7 a side)
- Youth 7 & U $225.00 Unlimited Roster (7 a side)
- Youth 10 & U $225.00 Unlimited Roster (7 a side)
- Youth 13 & U $250.00 18 Dressed /game (7 a side)
- Youth 16 & U $250.00 18 Dressed /game (7 a side)
- Youth 21 & U $250.00 18 Dressed /game (7 a side)
***please note the 21 and under will depend on the number of teams who register and field availability
In effort to support inclusion and team spirit through the sport of soccer we have changed our roster limits. Categories aged 10 & Under will be allowed unlimited rosters. Categories for 13, 16 and 21 & Under will be limited to 18 players dressed per game but an unlimited roster. Please note that other rules, as noted, still apply.
Please remember to have your entry fees and roster to registration by the start of your first game. Also, please remember to sign a Sportsmanship Code of Conduct at the registration table.
