Request for Proposals: Strategic Engagement
Musqueam Indian Band (“MIB” or “Musqueam”) invites consultants to submit proposals for supporting our strategic collaboration and engagement with the Province of British Columbia (“the Province”).
Consultancy support will involve reviewing a current engagement framework drafted by the Musqueam Indian Band and negotiating an updated Collaborative Management Agreement to guide future strategic engagement.

About Musqueam
Musqueam is a First Nation that has lived throughout and stewarded the Fraser River estuary for thousands of years. Our main reserve is located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, but much of our ancestral territory encompasses Metro Vancouver.
About the project
The selected proponent will assist Musqueam with implementing an Engagement Framework and developing an updated Collaborative Management Agreement to strengthen relations with the Province and advance the shared goals of reconciliation.
The successful bidder should have experience and expertise in developing collaboration and engagement strategies for First Nations, with a focus on environmental and land-use issues, be free of any obligations or interests that may conflict or affect their ability to perform, and act as the Proponent for this engagement and have the capacity to provide this service in a timely manner.

Proposals must be received by Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 4:30 pm PT.
