Musqueam Election 2020: Official Candidates List
An election is called for November 30, 2020 to elect one chief and ten councillors for the next term of office. Last weekend, Musqueam and OneFeather held a successful, COVID-safe nominations meeting, and released the preliminary list of candidates the following day. Nominees had until Friday, October 30 to confirm their nomination.

Thank you to everyone who followed the COVID-19 safety guidelines at the nomination meeting last Sunday. Musqueam continues to have no confirmed cases of COVID-19 on reserve, and it is because of our continued commitment to keeping our community safe.
This election, please remember the COVID-19 basics:
- wash your hands often with soap for 20-seconds
- disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly
- stay home if you feel sick
- maintain physical distance from people outside of your bubble (at least 6 – 10 feet)

Musqueam Chief and Council Election
Monday, November 30, 2020
9 AM – 8 PM
Musqueam Community Centre Gymnasium
This election will be very similar to previous elections, with the exception of new COVID-19 protocols.
There are two ways to vote: in-person on November 30, or by mail.
Due to the pandemic, electors are encouraged to vote by mail. To request a mail-in ballot, contact Jocelyn (Musqueam Membership) or the Electoral Officers. Please also contact the Electoral Officers or Jocelyn for questions and additional information.
