On Friday, May 5, to acknowledge the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2SLGBTQQIA+ Peoples, also known as Red Dress Day, Musqueam Health hosted a community walk through Musqueam.
Community, staff and elected leaders joined the walk, which ended at Musqueam beach with prayers for all those impacted by violence against Indigenous women, girls, two spirit, and gender diverse people.
Afterwards, we gathering in our community centre for tea and bannock.
