Chief and Council Election 2020
Musqueam Indian Band has called an election on November 30, 2020 for the purpose of electing one chief and ten councillors the next ensuing term of office. The nomination meeting is this weekend, and any Musqueam member over 18 can nominate or be nominated at this meeting.

Nomination forms will be available at the nomination meeting, or available before the meeting at the administration office and online at the election webpage to download, print, fill in and bring to the meeting.

COVID-19 Protocol
Due to public health COVID-19 orders, please follow these guidelines at the nomination meeting to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19:

- Wash or sanitize your hands before entering the community centre.
- Please wear a mask.
- Maintain physical distance from other people and remain 6 feet apart.
- If you can, bring forms filled in and a pen.
- Exit as soon as you have submitted your nomination(s) to the Electoral Officer.

Voting is in person on November 30, following strict COVID-19 protocols, and by mail.
Due to COVID-19, electors are encouraged to submit mail-in ballots if possible. To request a mail-in ballot, contact Jocelyn Campbell or the Electoral Officers, or visit the Musqueam Election Webpage. Please also contact the Electoral Officers or Jocelyn for questions and additional information.
