In February and March 2023, the Musqueam Community Planning team invited all community members to share:
What does it mean to be šxʷməθkʷəy̓əmaʔɬ məsteyəxʷ?
(What does it mean to be a Musqueam person?)
Community members of all ages created beautiful visuals, words and photos about Musqueam culture, land and history for this unique community art show.
hay ce:p q̓ə – thank you to all who participated!
Your responses help make sure Musqueam identity and culture is the foundation of our community’s vision and plans for the future, including Musqueam’s Comprehensive Community Plan (CCP).

Musqueam community members are also invited to view the postcards on display in the Community Centre lobby from April 12-May 12.
You can still add your own postcard to the gallery! Pick up a paper copy in the Community Centre, or email [email protected]. Please note that the prize draw window has closed.
This project is done in partnership with Musqueam community members, the Musqueam community planning team, and UBC Indigenous Community Planning Masters students.
